The Monkees

Does anyone know the backstory, value or production count for the Monkees (4) Box set? Additionally, the Spencer's special edition?

Not sure what the production numbers were, but the blue shirt ones are definitely harder to find as a complete set. Not only were they a LE set, but they came individually boxed instead of in one long box like the set with the maroon shirts. For the maroon set, I'd say you can get them for $35-$40 plus shipping. The blue shirt ones usually go for $20-$30 each, I think.

The Monkees was, and still is, a hard license to get. It's on the expensive side and the the licensor is very protective of "The Monkees" image. Mike Paquin had an in...that's how Funko got their foot in the door.

Numbers:
-10,000 of the box set.
-Peter and Mike were each 480's. Mike Paquin had those as exclusives.
-1,600 Micky Dolenz' and twice that many Davy Jones'. Both were Spencer's Gifts exclusives.

Does anyone happen to have the Spencer's Mike and Peter Blue shirt exclusive they're looking to unload?

It's funny...I couldn't tell you what I had for lunch yesterday, but decade-old Funko? No problem.
