Dumb and Dumber

Postby DaveSchult » Mon Jan 28, 2013 8:05 pm

So I ordered a dumb and dumber wobbler set from Funko through Fab.. When I received them and pulled them out, both wobblers have Harry's voicebox.. Would manufacturer defect like this ultimately increase or decrease the value? :-k

As a Wacky Wobbler completist, personally, I see nothing special about a piece containing the wrong chip. I would not knowingly buy it. Besides, I easily could pop a chip out of Harry, put it into the other fellow, and proclaim to have this "rare factory error" version. Value: None.

I hate to admit it, but over the past few years I haven't taken any of my new wobblers out of their box to be able to hear what they have to say. I just put them in their display cases behind their protos. I figure if they really want me to hear what they have to say, they'll yell at me from where they are. ;-)

Or maybe that explains those voices in my head...... :-k

Why would you contact Funko for a replacement? You didn't buy it from them. They made it and sold it to a reseller. The reseller sold it to you. Contact the merchant that got your money.

If you like the fact that it came with the wrong chip, keep it. If not, return it if you can. I agree with Jim on this. I don't see any potential profit you could make off of it. Other than the value of the wobbler itself.
