Hot Topic Dr Whooves & Fluttershy regular & chase

Got 4 ponies today, no chases. Both Dr Whooves have green ties. 2 more on their way to me, I'm not very hopeful that I'll get chases, but I'm at least for a red tie.

While mostly he's seen without one, I know he's at least once seen having a green tie. I don't remember him having a red tie in the actual series, but then I don't pay that much attention to background characters, so I may be mistaken.

Fluttershy is my favorite character and the reason why I bought these figures now. If I didn't want to have that Fluttershy so much, I would have waited till these are available here in Europe later this year.

The original wave of Derpy and Rainbow Dash had a matte material/finish, then sometime after the new year, they started sending them out with a shiny material/finish.

These have the shiny material/finish.

A lot of Funko products will have a matte finish and a glossy finish. That is a result of different "batches" coming from the factory. Many Wacky Wobblers and some Funko Force have this issue.

It is still all wonderful Funko!!!

My shipment just arrived and I got non-variant Dr. Whooves with a green tie and non-variant Fluttershy, which are what I wanted, so I'm very happy right now.

Hey Kitzka, I sometimes post on Equestria Daily under the same Mochacritter name. I'd have PMed you but I've just realized I accidentally registered as under 13 and am apparently blocked from PMing people?

I'm actually over 30 and am not sure how to change that COPPA setting, also don't see any easy way of reaching a mod to take care of that. : /

They did a real nice job on Fluttershy. I did have a few seam flaws on mine, underside of tip of tail, but its overlookable for me, went into a local Hot Topic store to get my Fluttershy and Doctor Whooves last week, got exactly the ones I wanted.

Both of my preorders shipped. 2 Flutterhy's and 2 Doctor Whooves on their way to me. Should all be here to me tomorrow, as they're in New Hampshire right now.

Also, please don't generalize adult pony fans. Plenty of us enjoy brushables.

Fair enough Nikki, there are pony fans who like the brushables, I should have qualified that the kiddos and some of the adult pony fans like the brushables. I wasn't intending to slight your likes, no fandom is homogenous in what they like...but you have to acknowledge that there's a lot in the pony fandom who don't like the brushables. And for those who don't like the brushables...there's a serious lack of quality show accurate figures to buy, that was my actual point. It's items with the highest degree of show accuracy that sell out repeatedly and get their websites crashed by overeager pony fans.

Hi folks, first time posting here.

Just wanted to chime in and say the figures are cool as hell. I pre-ordered My figs off of Hot topic. Got the normal red tie Dr Wooves, and normal Fluttershy. Was hoping for a green tie Dr, but no biggie.
As for the sparkly version thing, I say go for it! Although the normal versions were My top priority, I was hoping I'd get sparkly ones as well. Guess I'll have to hit hot topic this weekend and see what I can find.

And here's something for the folks who aren't fond of the sparkly versions to think about: If Funko does figures of the princesses, just imagine a sparkly version of Luna! Admit it, that would look pretty cool.

Why is fluttershy facing a differant direction? The cutie mark on the opposite site.. a character thang?

Yeah, pretty much a character thing. In the show, her mane usually hangs over the right side of her face, sometimes covering her right eye. It also looks like a heart framing her face from the left angle:
