It don't mean a thing if it ain't got a spring. Come inside and chat about Funko Wacky Wobblers (bobble heads, for the less sophisticated).

Yes, I do. Especially since I just bought a 1/24 Orange shirt Charlie Brown wobbler and already have a yellow shirt wobbler so I now also need a red shirt wobbler (never knew one existed until the other day).

I have all three protos and production pieces, woo-hoo! The orange production piece is difficult to find because the case was "lost" at Comic Con.

The 24 orange shirts were supposed to be distributed by Funko. The yellow and red shirts were being distributed by Funko and the Peanuts people. Somehow the case of orange made it to the Peanuts booth. Funatic volunteers scoured the Peanuts stock trying to locate the missing orange shirt Wobblers, but they didn't materialize. It was feared that all 24 had been given away to Peanuts collectors. I believe it was after Comic Con that some of the Wobblers were located and given back to Funko (6 or 12 if memory serves).

I love weird Funko stories like this orange shirt Charlie bit from the past. While I enjoy these Wobbler Tales of Yore, they randomly and rarely appear- and only if an elder who knows a story behind them reads that thread. It would be great to compile a thread devoted to lost/damaged/rejected/scrapped/bootlegged/variant/etc. pieces of Funko history. Jacob started the wax thread, but as there seem to be very few wax pieces that survived/exist in known collections, there haven't been any new additions. I loves me some stories.

Please, Sir, I want some more.
