How much would you pay to complete a blind box set?
I value everyones opinion so i thought id ask. I bought the 1/144 clark kent last night on ebay to round out my set and im trying to get justification. I got it a lot less than the 100 plus I've seen it go for , but im trying to see if I got a good deal. If you collect the minis please chime In on how much if it were you that you would pay.

Well it depends on how bad you wanted the complete set, how much you like the final piece in the set to splurge on, and how rare the mystery mini is.
If you got it for a lot less, then if I was you I'd be happy with it. At 1/144, you have to go with the mindset of splurging on the individual piece, and not buying actual blind boxes to complete your set... you could buy 300 and not get one, or you could buy 3 and get the one you want, and usually people aren't that lucky
However, when I make purchases like that.. I justify it before paying for it. If you're trying to justify it afterwards, you possibly shouldn't have bought it in the first place.

There's always a danger with buying early in the release cycle. I've always felt that the first ones to hit the secondary market are priced higher than they would normally be to cash in on the excitement of the release. Prices tend to come down as the release widens and more and more of them start showing up on secondary sites. My feeling: If you got it for less than the going rate and you're happy with it, then you got a good deal.
And, boy, is it ever hard to justify 100 bucks for 3" toy. Especially to a spouse or significant other.

I paid 46 shipped for the 1/144 I think its the size of the item that's getting me. I really only paid around 30 because of selling my extras amd ebay bucks. Its just so small

I think it is worth it fr $46 especially for a 1/144 piece because that means it comes 1 in 6 cases (master case). The $46 is cheaper than trying to buy blind boxes and pulling this piece. Kidrobot 3" dunny that is 1/100 or more, it runs around $100 but some are more depending on the artist.

The Domo set is what, 14 pieces.... so 14 x $7 = $98....how much more (total, including what you've sold) have you spent to complete the set?? Twice that much?? That might be too much for some.
And while I completely support your Domo collection....do you concern yourself with those that are still saying, "Domo? Really? Why? Who's gonna?" ----if you do concern yourself...STOP IT!!

If I would want to complete a set, I would just buy a case and hope to get the 1/144...if not, just buy it for the price you think it is fair.

Im less about the domo and more about the costumes. I do like them better than I thought I would.
