Funko spotted in Norway

Postby Panthera » Tue Jul 23, 2013 6:40 pm

So I had the biggest surprise when I walked into the geek shop Outland (comic books, manga, sci-fi books, geek stuff, etc..) here in Oslo today.
On a shelf with other blind boxes they had Disney mystery minis!

And then further into the locale I found Dr. Whooves vinyl figures. They even have a sparkly chase! (If I didn't have him I would have bought him right away. Nobody probably knows it's a chase)

This is the first time, as far as I know there's ever been any Funko in Norway.
The store said they're getting the DC and Marvel ones too, so hopefully I'll be seeing many more Funko series in the future.

I of course had to pick up some blind boxes, and the first one I opened was the 1/72 Stitch I've been wanting!

Funko's branching out even farther! How awesome for you, and hopefully this will make it easier for you to get some pieces you want. Congrats on the Stitch! And HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

No, Krissy already got me a Dr. Whooves chase, so I didn't. :) Kinda regret not getting the green tie Dr. Whooves though..
He's priced high because of import charges, and shipping out of Norway is extremely expensive, so it wouldn't be economical to grab him for somebody else either. :-/

Congrats on the Funko field discovery Elaine. As happy as I am when I find a new store that has Funko, I can only imagine what you felt like when you found the FIRST one. Who knew...FUNKO is helping the world feel just a little bit smaller.
