GitD Doctor Whooves on ThinkGeek

Postby Malion » Tue Aug 27, 2013 12:32 pm

It doesn't say Funko on the listing but it seems pretty obvious that it is it.

Apparently it's a ThinkGeek exclusive.
Kind of a random thing to make Glow in the Dark but it's pretty cool.

Link to buying it here.

Thanks for the link. Admittedly, I find a GITD pony kind of strange. Although, I am not a Dr Who viewer, so I wouldn't know if that's a thing relevant to the show. I'll have to get him regardless!

I would have commented on that thread, but it seems I'm considered a second class citizen
on that board and I can't post there before I have 100 messages under my belt.

I love GitD stuff and toys particularly. I would have bought this, but once again cost of importing would have been too high, so no glowing in the dark Dr. Whooves for me. But at least I have the regular version in my collection.

Really, "second class citizen" you have been here for about 8 months with 64 post. It seem to me you can choose participate or don't! If you just like to browse the forum that is fine there is nothing wrong with that but don't cry when you finally want to post something but you can't because you CHOOSEN not to post much in the last 8 months.

I'm pretty slow to the uptake also. I stalked the board for a good while, but I can be pretty quiet, so I didn't post until recently. Keep on keeping on, you know.

As for import, if you want any help, let me know. I'll be ordering one for myself in the coming weeks, and I can always throw a second in if you want help getting it across the pond.

I figured since it was an exclusive variant it would be chatted about on the vinyls... like exclusive pops are posted in their own threads.
I never even go down to those boards, lol

It was was more about the fact that before the forum change, I was able to post there, but now I can't. Also I only collect POP & Vinyl ponies so there has not been that much to discuss/post. I'm not posting to threads just for the sake of posting and increasing the post count.

Why not just read what you want to, post as you'd like, perhaps PM some people to get to know them a bit. Maybe get a trade going that way. Talk pony stuff with others with the same interests (downright scary there are so many of us). Then whenever you exceed the term requirements, expand your view and participation with the board and some more of us PVC addicted nerds.

Relax. Have FUN
.

I saw that too and just shook my head. I thought for sure it was going to be that one guy on eBay who drastically overprices exclusive "preorders" and has been a real jerk to some members. But I was wrong on that..
