Freddy Banks

Does anyone actually use their freddy bank as a bank? The Boba fett one i just bought has a plastic rod running up through the entire bank... I would only be able to fit like 7 nickels in it. Just wondering why they put in the effort to cut the coin slot and withdrawal opening if you can't use it?

My wife uses one of my 24" Rat Fink Banks and her grape ape. The Rod I think was a later add on to prevent them from leaning but I need to double check.

That's kinda what I figured...the material seems really susceptible to heat...by the time I opened the package, I could have molded the base in to any shape I wanted it was so soft from being in the heat all day!

I love using my Marvin The Martian head bank! It's perfect cause you don't have to worry about change getting stuck or being hard to get out! I plan on not making a withdraw until it is full! Those of you who know how big it is will know that I'll be getting some nice pieces of funko that day!! ;)

I also tuck some "Don't spend this yet" cash into the head of one of my Sleestak banks!

Great way to save money for next year's Fun Days, too. I haven't used any of my 20 or so banks as a bank yet. We still use our old glass water bottle from a water cooler. It was only about half way filled when Stacey rolled all the coins for our last trip. I think there was about $800 in there. Of course, that was several years of coin dropping.

Coins :smt102

We always use our credit cards and rarely use cash - except for tips (paying off the card in full every month). I left my card by my computer at home yesterday and went to the drug store to buy the 2 new Haloween Pez, and had to use cash. I gave the cash-ier a 5 dollar bill, and she gave me 2 bills and two coins back. I looked at the coins and just stood there wondering what the heck I was going to do with them. I looked for some kind of donation container at the register to dispose of them, but there were none. I sensed impatient people behind me, so I pocketed the coins and went home.

I'm now on the hunt for something in a store that will cost me 35 cents, including tax. I will drive up to 5 miles to make this so. :-k
