Wacky Wobbler Chase question.

Postby homietrav » Tue Jan 14, 2014 9:40 pm

I couldn't find this info so now I'll ask.
If a SDCC Wobbler is limited to a 1008pc run, and has chrome base chases in the run, is it still 1/36 or are the numbers different?
1008pcs. 1/36 is a chase = 28 total chase pieces?

I am confused...If there are only 28 of them why aren't they a 1/28 (LE 28). That is the edition size even thought there is 1 in every 36 in the box there are only 28 cases....right????

They should be 1 per case of 36.. so that's a 1:36 ratio. in 1008 pieces you should have 28 cases. So in theory there are only 28 chase pieces out there.

Not many... I think maybe only the superhero SDCC exclusives might have chases (aside from the glow Darth Maul chase). And I don't think there were any wobbler chases the last 2 years.

Thank you. This is what I meant when I put 1/36

How did distribution of SDCC chases work? Was it random when you bought from the booth, or did friends of booth workers get special treatment?

On a related note, how long we're the Star Wars regular production pieces in production? I feel like there are tons out there but some of the chases are near impossible to find...some of the production pieces as well.

The first year or 2 the people working the booth got them. After that Brian gave away all of the chases during fundays.
