I don't think it makes it more valuable. And the listings on ebay on this support my thoughts too if I remember correctly. This is not a large production error such as the all red dragon Dany or the Batman Symbol error. Who would want a one eyed pony anyway?
The name is Jean

I wouldn't have bought it. I mean, I guess if you like it but I wouldn't pay extra for a one-eyed pony.

What everyone else said. This is not what you call a one of a kind and this is not something that is worth money. These are the pieces that we warn people against buying when we see them on eBay.

Value is in the eye of the buyer?

It seems people have become obsessed over "exclusives" such as this along with these rediculous customs listed on ebay as rare. Either way, the true collectors know what they're looking for.
Betwixt DC and Marvel multiverses.

Funko really needs a reality check in regards to quality.
I've bought and returned over 20 figures because of paint issues.

If Gemini got it you would have paid less... would have gone into the DAMAGED BOX - PAINT FLAW SALE section at a discount from the retail. There are LOTS of random paint flaws.

In a perfect world, there wouldn't be any paint flaws. But the truth is, as many others have stated before, it is a $9-15 (much cheaper than that if you think of it in terms of production costs) TOY made in China; there are going to be flaws.

$9-$15 is a high price tag to have this much paint and other issues. I've seen action figures and other toys such as Kidrobot to have a much better job done to the paint and no damages or creases or whatever in comparison to Funko. There is no excuse really as to why these figures should have SO MANY issues. similar companies maintain a higher standard of quality. I went to my comic shop today and there were no GOT figures without paint issues. I bought a Doctor Who blind box and MLP blind box and guess? Yes, Funko quality needs improvement.

Re: My Little Pony- Hot Topic exclusive - Missing Eye
Quality is what it is. Brian (Prez of Funko) is very much aware of the issues. He now has 7 factories squeezing these out and I believe it is and will remain what it is. But even before the massive popularity of the Pop! line, there's almost always been quality issues. I don't like it any more than the next guy, but I've learned to accept it (ok - in addition to the production Wacky Wobblers, my main focus is on their protos, and there's no paint on them. But I have also noticed an improvement in the production pieces over the past few years).
And, yes, Brian has stated that they are indeed toys, and to substantially improve the quality would mean substantial price increases.
May I suggest that if anyone has any comments or suggestions for Funko, seek Brian out at the Con or Funday next month. Or you may want to contact Allison at Funko with your specific concerns.

Re: My Little Pony- Hot Topic exclusive - Missing Eye
So the president confirms these are Toys and then he puts a disclaimer not for kids basically. Lol. Then he targets collectors with his products and then when quality is crap he says they are Toys haha wow. for the price tho, $10 retail can't call for excellent quality but maybe we should look at kidrobot which also produces pieces of the same scale, material (vinyl) and price range and somehow they manage to have superior quality to funko.
Not to mention Japanese UFO crane machines items which are also inexpensive and blow funko pop quality away. so in realty they're is no excuse. Start producing less items and crowding the market, then maybe you get better paint job.

It is also up to the retailer to notice quality and decide if it is acceptable. They can get replacements which yes, can be annoying but if it means they'll be able to sell it it is totally worth it. In the last few large orders my store has recieved there were very few noticeably flawed pieces. Quality control has definitely gone up in my opinion.
