POLL: Do you open your ReActions or leave them carded?
I love the Kenner style. I hope if there are enough openers we might see vehicles or playsets made
I couldn't decide what to do with my Alien set. They are pricier than the upcoming figures. So, I took my exacto knife and cut open a flap to remove the Alien. The quality, but more importantly, that vintage plastic smell hit me, nostalgia took over, and I opened my whole set. I can replace them in the bubble if I choose to later. Looking at the upcoming figures, I want toopen them all, but I want some carded as well, the artwork is just gorgeous!
So, what is everyone else doing with their ReAction figures?

I will buy two of each. One to open and one to display in packaging.

Since this is not really a poll, you may want to check this out, already in progress.

I open them. I'm probably going to buy 2 of both Mal and Snake because I'm a particularly big fan of those two characters. I take pictures of everything when I get it so I have nice detailed photos of the packaging. I do appreciate the packing but as a loose collector I don't have space to collect that way, at least not to any great degree.

What size Protech cases will fit reaction best? Star case 1 or Star case 2?

Re: POLL: Do you open your ReActions or leave them carded?
I'm going to keep most of mine carded, unless it's a large line of figures.
I don't really like mixing licenses in my displays, so if the line has just a few figures (Rocketeer, Escape from New York), I'll keep them on the card.
If over the years we end up with a large assortment (REALLY hoping for lots of Back to the Future figures from all 3 movies), then I'll get doubles of just a few iconic ones (Doc, Marty) to keep on the card, and open the rest.

Re: POLL: Do you open your ReActions or leave them carded?
Just depends, a little of both. A few I will probably buy doubles of, one to keep carded, the other to open. But most will be opened, if I don't get doubles.
With Alien, I keep a set carded, and bought extras of the Alien and Ripley to open.

I open all my Funko pieces and toss most of the packaging: reaction, pop, legacy, whatever. All out of the packaging, always. Free the Funkos!

I planned on just buying a Freddy Krueger and leaving it in the pack, but now I'm up to like 60 figures and had to open them all to conserve space.

Re: POLL: Do you open your ReActions or leave them carded?
I'm a big fan of the cards on these so currently they're all carded... BUT... A while back I picked up a really nice acrylic display case to mount on the wall that's made for 3.75" figures so soon I'm going to be opening almost all of them and starting a nice display. The only ones I'll probably keep sealed are the exclusives and the Jaws set (I love that iconic artwork, they look so perfect).

Only have 3 in my collection - all from the Horror series...
My Pinhead is MOC and framed with a Doug Bradley Autograph.
Freddy Krueger and Michael Myers are both MOC and displayed on the wall in zoloworld cases.
So definitely a carded fan...admittedly for me the cards are 65% the appeal of the line, as imo the figures themselves ain't much to look at really...
I had a Friday the 13th Jason that unfortunately had the bubble come away from the card (not glued properly), so I just gave him away...

I usually open them to display just the figures. I have kept some in the package because it looks awesome overall with the backing

I leave them carded but some of those from Black Friday two years ago opened on their own....

They are open in a old MCC box and I mix and match the props all the time when I bring them out to play with them and take pictures. My favorite picture so far is aliens vs karate kid.

From an investment standpoint, smart move.
Mine is still boxed as well, though I'm sure I'll cave at some point and open them.

To be honest, I dont even think I'll ever sell it because I love Golden Girls so much. It's just that I dont know how to display them as well if I take em out. I wish i bought 2 when it went up in Target.com just so i can have one I can open and play with and one to just display. But I thought it wont get soldout and wont be that limited.

The retro packaging is a fun touch but they are more fun out of the package.

I won't sell mine either, have really fond memories of the show and watching it with my Grandmother as a kid. Plus my Grandmother looked just like Sophia. Funny you mentioned buying more than one because I was going to do the same thing but the site only allowed me to order one. Overall, I'm just happy to have them.

When I had some I took them out and mixed them in with all my other stuff. Once I found myself leaving them carded, it meant they weren't being displayed, so I sold them all.

I like to keep mine on the card not for collectibility purposes, but because it looks and reminds me of the action figures when I was a kid. All about the nostalgia
