Thanks for the size comparison! Not too far off from the Funko ponies.

Yes very close in size and detail..the ears, the shape of the head..almost looks like it could have been made by Funko..it looks like Hasbro has stepped up their game on the ponies..thanks Becky.

Well in fact Maneiac is larger than the normal sized pony in the show, I bet if Funko made her too she would be around the same size, only with more hair tentacles that were larger since Funko is more accurate. Hasbro only put a few hair tentacles.. the thing is they grow too but I bet Funko would make them not fully grown out because well look her box would have to be massive!

I think I will buy her just in case we never get a Funko version..I think she will look good next to Discord until we get more Villians...Is anyone else curious that since we are getting 3 this wave that we may not be getting any more?

We will be getting more. I already know of another coming this year. Would be awesome if we keep getting three per wave from now on I would love that!

We're getting more, I saw the concept wall :) As far as villains go, I hope we get a Nightmare Moon funko (or Nightmare Rarity if they go into the comic characters at all)

Not allowed to post photos of the Funko concept walls at the offices. The trade-off of being able to take a tour is that you don't spill the beans.

I was pretty sure this wouldn't be the end for ponies--we still have tons of important characters left, not to mention more background ponies. Though I hope that the next few batches will get us all our villain fix.

Yea I would hope not you should see how Hot Topic talks about them on the phone, a few people I talked to were like we get tons of orders on those ponies, and they are like one of the very top sellers on hottopic.com.

We have the cutie mark crusaders Sweetie Belle, Applebloom, and Scootaloo who are pretty popular mane characters, I would expect to see them at some point soon, they might be waiting until they have cutie marks so they are more interesting figures then? I can just imagine that giant bow on Applebloom being super cute! Then we have the Royals the princesses and Shining Armor, I think we can expect to see those at some point, and of course Spike as well maybe he will be released with the third crusader because they are about the same size, if they can make Discord I think they will make Spike!

Looking at just season 4 so many new characters have become so popular like Maud Pie, Coco Pommel, Soarin (always kinda popular now even more) I would imagine this trend will continue into season 5 where we will meet new characters we fall in love with and grow a big fanbase then they will have a chance to be made keeping them coming!

Theres tons of characters that I wish target, walmart, toysrus, etc would pick up a pair for their own exclusives you know like walmart has Braeburn and Cheerilee, and target has Cloudchaser and Thunderlane, and toysrus has Zecora and Soarin, etc. Would be so great to get more than just 10 ponies in a year. Wish it were more like 16-20!

I would love variations of Rarity, but since she was the last of the mane six to be made I doubt we will see Nightmare Rarity anytime soon

I always tell my kid my favorite characters are Pound Cake and Pumpkin Cake because they're so cute, but the twins may be too small to make into figures.

I love the twins. they are adorable! i would love to see some variants of Rarity besides the black, which i think would happen at some point. but maybe the other variants you want call for some customs?!

I am kinda interested in what Howie Green and or Dubose would so with rarity.... hmmm...

Agreed. Luckily I snagged Spitfire for $40...but I don't see getting as lucky with Sweetie..

and I would've much rather had them than big MMs of Spitfire and Vinyl.

Did you guys see? Hot Topic put up the next wave of mystery minis, it's out of stock and I don't think it was ever in stock, so they probably just have it up and not available till the regular minis come out. But there are color versions of Fluttershy, Lyra, and Spitfire as exclusives. It doesn't show the rarities of anything though.

I noticed that too!

I called and they said they had them in the store same SKU, then they realized they shipped out the incorrect box!

Since series 1 had 5 exclusives, I'll take a guess that we get Octavia and Bon Bon as well.
