Has anyone ever ordered POPs off http://www.gohastings.com/ ? I'm tempted to bite at some of their prices (6.39 for a single POP is pretty decent I must say), but I'd like to check to see if anyone else has ordered from this site and their experience with it. Mostly interested in how they ship them... can't be much worse than B&N though.

I've only ordered from them once and everything arrived in perfect condition. I ordered 5 pops so maybe that helped?

IIf you order one Pop they ship them in a bubble mailer, I've seen tons of horror stories, and yes, they are much worse than BnN.

I ordered about 10 pops from them and only one had damage to it, it was shipped separately from the others which were shipped in a big box.

Every time I order from Hastings my Pop!s come with price stickers on them and bent up boxes. I received a Ace Ventura with paint on his white shirt like someone painted it and returned it.

Yeah, I believe it's pretty close to the mall in Maryville. I haven't been there in a few months so I'm not entirely sure, but there is a Hastings there.

I got two talking wobblers as gifts from Go Hastings about 3 years ago through the mail.... the boxes were mangled, and neither of them talk. I think one was mailed in an unpadded envelope. I would never order from them, just because of that experience.

Yeah the actual Hastings stores are fine. You can actually find some pretty good stuff in there. But I don' recommend ordering online unless you're an OOB collector.

B&N has a habit of packing their pop in a box smaller than a pop box. They usually use the Nook boxes and the Pop gets crushed.

A lot of the comments though say that the incident shown is more of a rarity than the norm. But, to each their own. I am an OOB collector but still love the boxes and keep the boxes. I would hate to have one shipped like that either way.

Great thing about Amazon is their return policy though. List the return as defective/damaged, or package was damaged during shipping and you can return for full refund/replacement and almost always get free shipping back. And with Amazon Prime, not having to pay to ship or have shipped back is nice. I bought two Spiderman pops from them and both were terrible paint jobs, returned them no problem, no questions asked. Plus Amazon has some of the best customer service out there.

Never had a box damaged during shipping with Amazon, but have had terrible paintings on Pops from them.

I've had damaged Pop!s come, and their replacements came damaged once, so they sent me another replacement and let me keep 2 sets, , 3/4 of the replacement of the replacement came damaged, but I got free pop!s so I didn't replace em again. :p

It's hit or miss. I think they pull items off the shelf from various store locations. The first ones I ordered online were from them, and one of the boxes came taped up the side with clear packing tape. For $6-7 I didn't complain.

I've ordered a lot of movies from them over the years (not so much recently, as their prices are pretty terrible now that they're under new-ish management), and their shipping/packing methods are pretty awful. I've received a lot of damaged items due to lack of proper padding, etc. That being said, their customer service has always been good and easy to work with as far as returns and exchanges go. I wouldn't order a Pop from them though...

What're the dimensions of a POP! box? I'm at work and need to procure a box for shipping individual POP!s so they don't get damaged.
