Great find! I am willing to make phone calls to comic book shops or toy store for folks who live in towns that may have glitters available. I can do the phone work if someone is willing to pick them up for us. We are I desperate need of some Sweetie Drop and Spitfire crystals!!

Thanks Becky- none of my comic stores carry the ponies. But I will try to research some in the area and will send you some names and what not. I can pick up. Just can't call as much due to my crazy job. Grace tells me all the time that I'm a workaholic.

I'm willing to help search in the metro Detroit area. Don't have a lot of comic shops but there are a lot of Hot Topics and B&Ns nearby. I can call and stop by to check on their stock.

Yes but this speaks volumes...and is kind of hurtful and disrespectful to everyone who has helped...sure enough when you receive something it is yours to do whatever with...but this is a completely different situation with different circumstances. The main reason the list was created gets thrown right back in our faces. Not cool

its not your post that is the problem. the problem is that fellow funatics willing helped acquire some of those ponies. they helped acquire those ponies at cost for fellow fanatics so that they wouldn't have to pay eBay prices. Im sure the person who found them would like to have sold them for $60 plus. We beat up members and eBayers who flip but now we are helping moderators acquire pieces to flip. Why not offer them who's next on the list? IMO defeats the purpose of the list. Guess we live and we learn

ADDED 8/18:

After getting bashed here from a couple of Funatics (which by the ways against the rules) who don't even know me and did not have the decency to PM me personally to let me know how they felt; then getting a nights sleep, I decided to offer up most of them on the board at or near cost plus a bit more to cover the initial shipping. You all can decide who should get what first. They really need good homes.

I am now putting my list up on the Sales thread (rules will not allow me to put the prices here). I will leave the thread up for a day or two to give you all a chance to fill in some gaps in your pony collections.

If anyone has a problem with me doing this, especially Dorian and Michael, please shoot me a PM. But after getting publicly bashed, I'm not sure how receptive I will be.

Could be weeks later even early September, or could be soon after the date, many waves were very late depending on where you live as well. They won't be in the stores on the exact release date.

Yea I wish it was that way.... I thought about doing that in the past as well, expect the sad thing is they seem to always be late at Hot Topic, They will show in Cali and the west coast well before anywhere else, once they are there you can expect about within 2 weeks for everywhere else? Thats what I have noticed atleast.

In the minis thread, Aquatic Neon has posted photos of the new ponies for whoever wants to see them immediately. He received his via overnight delivery, so I imagine we'll be seeing the ponies in stores in the next day or two. I'm ready!

And Carol - If anyone needs help calling stores, I'm open to the task. I do work full time, but can call when I'm home. I will need the full names of the people I'm putting them on hold for though.

looks like I might have to pass on this set for financial reasons and I will be busy moving the next week (most likely when the ponies will hit the east coast)
so, if any one wants to call the HTs closest to me, I will be more then happy to pick up the ponies for u. you will just have to paypal me the money before I go and then I will used the paypal credit card to purchase.
