Mine was double boxed as well, which really surprised me from all the horror stories I heard about Target's packaging. I was expecting the worst...

Got mine Tuesday. Nicely bubble wrapped and double boxed. It was in great shape. For sure my favorite pop of the year so far.

Some of the best memories in life, can be made by simply taking a chance. I took a chance with Funko, and it has brought myself and my family fun and smiles for the past five years since.

I'm glad Target's doing better with their shipping by bubble wrapping and placing them in bags but they do it ohh so tightly Dr. Ian Malcolm almost suffocated.

Can anyone explain the obsession with this pop everyone seems to have? I just don't get it.

Also: the target double boxing sucks compared to hot topic. They put far to much bubble wrap inside the inner box which squishes the box :(

Sometimes them packaging it this way damages the box. This is why the box looks caved in occasionally.

Got both of mine today. One was pretty much perfect but the other pop was a little squished. Overall I’m happy with them and hope target continues to improve on their shipping.

Yeah, sometimes it can happen but luckily nothing happened :) The same can be said about using packing peanuts. If the box gets pressed in, the peanuts will push in the box. That's why i choose to use stuffing paper, giving the pop ample room even if that box gets squeezed

Mine was bubble wrapped the same, but the back of the box is still caved in but not creased. It's like perfectly round indented to eat a bowl of cereal out of.

I think everyone loves it because of the "sexy" pose and amusing bare chest. It's a fun rendition of a classic scene from the original movie. Personally I love JP and have to have every single JP Pop they make now or in the future, so it was a no-brainer purchase.

What I really want to do is make a diorama with Ian in the back of the Jeep and the T-Rex chasing, unfortunately Funko hosed that idea by making the T-Rex WAY too small for the scene. And technically Muldoon should be driving the Jeep instead of Ellie, but she was in it so that part isn't too much of a stretch. I still plan on doing it, I'm hoping I can figure out how to kitbash a T-Rex for it.

It's not all bad, it's hit or miss. I ordered two and they arrived individually wrapped in bubble wrap and bagged in plastic bags. Both are mint condition.

tigsabud1 wrote:Ran into a frustrating problem with my order. It was mailed out last week and was supposed to arrive this past Friday, but as of today still hasn't. I contacted Target and they said that the delivery guy couldn't find my address, even though it was the right one, and my package was returned to Target. Because the delivery guy said he couldn't find it, Target is refusing to send the order back out, and says placing a new order is my only option. I tried explaining that it's sold out and won't be back for months, but they didn't seem to understand that. I'm beyond bummed; this was a Pop I'd been looking forward to for ages, and I'd lucked out and managed to grab one, only to have it sent back and cancelled because of a lazy delivery guy. :(

Against all odds, I came home today to a package from Target sitting on my doorstep, with none other than the sweaty pinup model himself. Not sure what ended up happening on Target or FedEx's part, but I'm just glad to have gotten my order. It was nicely wrapped in double bubble wrap, no dents on the box. Just goes to prove his theory that "Life, uh.....finds a way....."

Funko already replied on Twitter that this Pop will be available again sometime before the movie comes out. So there will definitely be a restock.

Just a heads up if you're waiting to buy this Pop! at a convention: it was no where to be found at WonderCon. I searched high and low and couldn't find it anywhere. Also, the T-Rex sold out at every booth I saw it at.

I would definitely wait to get one of these. It seems like they will be released again. I wouldn't get one from the secondary market just yet.

I saw the rumor of a 10" JP Pop although it did not specify which Pop it might be. Here's hoping it's a T-Rex, although if it is then that might actually be too big. 6" would be just the right size and scale.

Finally got my last JP preorder in yesterday, so here's a family portrait of the entire set with chase and exclusives! These things look really, really great in person. Excellent detail. I love all of them. My one complaint is that itty bitty T-Rex, why u so small bro? Can't wait for Ellie and her Jeep to add to the set.

I've been playing the Lego Jurassic Park video game and all I could think of with the scene of injured Ian was this Pop. I should have grabbed a photo of the Pop and the Lego version posing together, oops!

On another note, debating if this is one I want to take to work and display lol
