Mine was double boxed as well, which really surprised me from all the horror stories I heard about Target's packaging. I was expecting the worst...

If allowed of course.
That's exactly what I want to do. Get it signed

Sometimes them packaging it this way damages the box. This is why the box looks caved in occasionally.
The same can be said about using packing peanuts. If the box gets pressed in, the peanuts will push in the box. That's why i choose to use stuffing paper, giving the pop ample room even if that box gets squeezed

I contacted Target and they said that the delivery guy couldn't find my address, even though it was the right one, and my package was returned to Target. Because the delivery guy said he couldn't find it, Target is refusing to send the order back out, and says placing a new order is my only option. I tried explaining that it's sold out and won't be back for months, but they didn't seem to understand that. I'm beyond bummed; this was a Pop I'd been looking forward to for ages, and I'd lucked out and managed to grab one, only to have it sent back and cancelled because of a lazy delivery guy.

Funko already replied on Twitter that this Pop will be available again sometime before the movie comes out. So there will definitely be a restock.

The @target exclusive Dr Ian Malcolm WILL be re-stocked. Target will have more available closer to the release of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. More are on the way!

I think everyone loves it because of the "sexy" pose and amusing bare chest. It's a fun rendition of a classic scene from the original movie. Personally I love JP and have to have every single JP Pop they make now or in the future, so it was a no-brainer purchase.
What I really want to do is make a diorama with Ian in the back of the Jeep and the T-Rex chasing, unfortunately Funko hosed that idea by making the T-Rex WAY too small for the scene. And technically Muldoon should be driving the Jeep instead of Ellie, but she was in it so that part isn't too much of a stretch. I still plan on doing it, I'm hoping I can figure out how to kitbash a T-Rex for it.FunkoFern wrote:So sad the packaging jobs on these were bad.... Target def needs to stick to double boxing!
It's not all bad, it's hit or miss. I ordered two and they arrived individually wrapped in bubble wrap and bagged in plastic bags. Both are mint condition.

treswright wrote:Finally got my last JP preorder in yesterday, so here's a family portrait of the entire set with chase and exclusives! These things look really, really great in person. Excellent detail. I love all of them. My one complaint is that itty bitty T-Rex, why u so small bro? Can't wait for Ellie and her Jeep to add to the set.Spoiler: show

I saw the rumor of a 10" JP Pop although it did not specify which Pop it might be. Here's hoping it's a T-Rex, although if it is then that might actually be too big. 6" would be just the right size and scale.
