That's a tough question to answer because I just simply collect what I like and not necessary for what it's worth. However, if it was a pop I really wanted i would definitely say the 1 pop valued at $100. I hate paying the mark up value on a pop and obviously prefer and usually only buy at retail. Collecting pops cost enough without paying hundreds of dollars for a single pop.

One $100 Pop. I try to limit myself to how much I can own. It just gets crazy if you’re trying to collect a whole set.

It really depends on what that $100 Pop is. If its a license I don't care about, I don't want it. Same for ten $10 Pops - if I don't like the Pops, I don't wan them. Other factors would be if any were GITD. I would be swayed to whichever group has it.

I would also rather have 1 at $100. saves room!

I love the haunted mansion and I want those pops, I just can’t afford them.

Which ever option allows me to finish my set.

I always buy expensive pops 1st because they get more expensive and harder to get each year they are out.

Look at those people jumping on My Hero Academia line. If they bought commons 1st...they're now paying top dollar for Exclusives Deku and Ochaco Masked. I bought both for $30 bucks and now finishing off my set with commons.

(If Deku and Ochaco we're both 100 bucks each, I'd buy them 1st)

Collect what you like, yes. But be smart about it. :)

Really depends on what the pops are. If they are 10 pops I really want then I would go with the 10 but if the $100 pop is something I have really wanted then I would choose that over the 10.

Give me the 10 pops at 10$ a piece all day. Not because I want to fill up space or anything, but because I have a huge number of characters that I love. Also, I take a lot of Funko-based photos, and getting more subjects in front of the camera is optimal!

Starting off it was definitely 10 at $10 a piece, but now that my collection is closing in on 2,000 items I'd definitely say 1 for $100.

Honestly, depends on the pop. If I had the choice between 10 Duck Dynasty pops and 1 Disney pop, I'm going with the 1 Disney.

I guess it all depends on the kind of collector you are. Personally, I'd much rather have the ten lower value ones.. but then again, I appreciate them for how they look, if they're part of a fandom I like etc.. not necessarily their value. Their value doesn't really mean all that much to me. Yeah it's nice to have a valuable one but as I like them for how they look and what they are the value doens't make them any better in that department.

I was the exact same when I collected auto and relic cards for years.. I knew the logical, wisest thing to do would be collect them in series.. for future value, desirability etc. But I didn't.. I just bought cards I loved.. autos from people I loved. Mostly actresses or athletes from whatever movie series or show or sports organisation I was into.. I had LOST cards, LOTR cards, James Bond cards.. UFC cards. Just whatever appealed to me. Never really built series like other guys would.. some maybe to an extent but strangely, collecting every single card was never my thing. I just tracked down the ones I wanted.. of who I wanted. This kinda means if I was selling I'd have to sell individually as I don't really "full series" to sell. But overall I think individual sales work out more overall.. but admittedly also more hassle more shipping etc. However cards are pretty easy, inexpensive and straightforward to ship.

Sure, if I saw a really valuable Pop that I wasn't really into.. I'd buy it if it was going for a steal. But normally I just collect them because I like them.. I can understand serious collectors paying huge sums to complete lines however. In my view, Pops are really no different from cards in many respects.. except thankfully as a rule of thumb they are alot less expensive. I think all of these reasons contribute to why they appeal to me. I'm really only beginning though. I don't ever intend to get into Pops the same way I was with cards and other collections.. I spent small fortunes. If I tallied up my collecting combined over the years I'm pretty sure I could have bought myself a Ferrari. lol Aw well. I enjoyed buying and collecting.

It really depends for me, for instance I can get a whole set for 100 I would probably get the set vs 1 piece. But if a set has a $100 pop in it I would probably want to knock out the most expensive first.

Seriously? Depends on what they are. If it’s a set I want, I’d take that over a higher valued pop, because it’s about how I value them not what they’re priced at. 10 pops vs 1 pop.

It really depends on the Pops. Some of my favorites have barely any value and are just have great memories attached. Some of them are valued at a much higher cost but they also have an emotional attachment. I'd probably go with 10 $10 Pops, as long as they're ones I get to pick.

I think for my collection as of this point I'd go for 1 pop for $100. I think it would lead for me to just focus on certain pieces rather than whole sets.

okay I'm pretty much finished organizing my shelves - and, I have to say, it would definitely be harder to find room for ten pops than one pop. So that's my final choice. 1 $100 pop.

Like other have said I think it depends on what the pops or 100 dollar pop is. If it is expensive and not something I collect like a dragon ball z one then I’d rather have the 10 worth 10 dollars or ones like I want to keep. Having a high value and then worrying about trading or selling it is too much of a hassle at 100 dollars value. Maybe if it was more valuable but only do trade reasons to get pieces rarer.

So for anyone that has stayed tuned in out count is at
50 people for 1 $100 pop
28 people for 10 $10 pops
26 people couldnt decide.
Look forward to hearing from more collectors!
P.s. there are a few conversation comments, so thats why the counts dont line up with # of comments .

I'll take the 10...it's still a hundred dollars in value...eventually one or two of those $10 pieces could be more valuable down the line, plus you get more to look at.

I would rather have Ten $100 Pops.

But to clarify your question, would those be 10 random $10 pops? or 1 random $100 pop?

If it was a Fandom that I really liked, I would rather have 10 $10 Pops instead of 1 $100 pop of a random Fandom.

With all that said, if it was a Fandom I loved, I go back to my initial statement:

I'm not too sure what kind of conclusive response you're trying to obtain from this poll because it seems like it all really depends for a lot of people. There are a lot of varying factors depending on what the pop is. But, to answer the best I can, I think I would go with one $100 pop rather than 10 of $10 because the one $100 pop could potentially hold it's value better over time.
