It's not like my recent discovery was the find of the century--not even the find of the month--but I was so caught by surprise that it made me smile and shake my head.
I thought I had all the LTJ Evo Kids--all three banks and all the mini-Wobblers. Problem is, I thought there were only 5 minis: 4 colorways and one GITD. The evidence to the contrary was pretty easy to find--if you paid attention: on http://www.funkospreadsheet.com; in the LTJ checklist in the Lists section where Carol Lynn (the board expert on LTJ) not only provided a list but pictures. But I somehow missed it.
My mini GITD Evo Kid had black features and a black "LTJ" on his chest. But while I was researching the production runs on my LTJ wobblers I found info that said the original Evo Kid mini was a run of 3000 and the ALL WHITE GITD version was a run of 1000. All white? Mine had a face drawn on it and a logo on its chest. What the he!! is this "all white" one? Sure enough, I had a different GITD mini. Cool. But that meant I was missing one and I thought that set was complete.
Later that day I went into the dining room to turn up the heat. Our dining room table has turned into a repository of Funko we're not quite sure what to do with yet--mostly the stuff I'm thinking of selling or gifting. I looked down, and sitting right on the corner of the table was the 'all white' Evo Kid GITD mini-Wobbler.
I knew I had two GITD Evo Kids, I just didn't know there were two versions. I had gotten the second one as a gift from Robert1313 (a very generous Funatic indeed) a couple of months ago. It was on the table because I was going to gift it to someone else because I thought I already had it. Let's just say that was a LOT of fun finding that new piece of Funko in my own house and he his now happily hanging out with a whole slew of LTJ vinyl. So, I guess a little late, thank you very much Robert. It really made my day.

May the Funko Be With You
